We are a non profit organization dedicated collecting and preserving authentic information, facts, and relics connected with the history of Ohio County, Kentucky.\u00a0 We reorganized our Society in 1971, and opened the museum in 1973.\u00a0 We soon outgrew that building and we moved into the Thomas House in 1975.\u00a0 All kinds of items are on display and one of our knowledgeable volunteers would love show you around. In addition to the Thomas House, we have an authentic L&amp;N caboose, a one room school, one room store, a log cabin, and a building filled with period tools. We also have a Veteran&#8217;s Museum with exhibits about our local men and women who have served in the military. If you have any comments, stories, or questions about local history or genealogy, please leave a comment below.<\/p>\n<p>Hours for the Thomas House:<\/p>\n<p>Monday:\u00a0 11am-4pm<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday:\u00a0 Closed<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday:\u00a0 11am-4pm<\/p>\n<p>Thursday:\u00a0 11am-4pm<\/p>\n<p>Friday:\u00a0 11am-4pm<\/p>\n<p>Saturday:\u00a0 9am-3pm<\/p>\n<p>Sunday:\u00a0 Closed<\/p>\n<p>Closed holidays and inclement weather.<\/p>\n<p>Admission is $2.00 per adult and $.50 per child.<\/p>\n<p>Hours for the Veteran&#8217;s Museum are the same as the Thomas House.
